Adrian Cockcroft has a career of capitalizing on the cutting edge. From founding eBay Research Labs to leading Neflix’s migration to public-cloud architecture to his current position as Technology Fellow for the investment firm Battery Ventures, he is fascinated by what’s next in technology. He authored the best-selling book “Sun Performance and Tuning,” was named one of the top leaders in Cloud Computing in 2011 and 2012 by SearchCloudComputing magazine and appreciates opportunities to share his experience with the community.
Jason Dixon is a leading thinker on metrics, monitoring, and infrastructure. He is the creator of the worldwide Monitorama conference series and Director of Product Solutions at Librato. He has held engineering and managing roles at leading companies including Heroku, Github, and Dyn. He specializes in server and network architectures, web application development, and storage & backups design. He is an open source pioneer, DevOps fanatic and scaling guru.
Nathen Harvey is a DevOps master and community leader at Chef. He organizes DevOpsDC and seeks to spread the revolution by supporting automated IT infrastructure and applications. He’s experienced in all aspects of web-based and enterprise applications, from technical support and system administration to development and management. He has played an integral role in scaling company infrastructure at various companies, including CustomInk.
Baron Schwartz is VividCortex’s founder and CEO. He is one of the world’s leading experts on MySQL, and has helped build and scale some of the largest web, social, gaming, and mobile properties. He is the author of High Performance MySQL and a variety of open-source software, and is highly regarded in the MySQL open-source community. Baron is a software engineer by training and a database expert out of love for the technology. He speaks widely on databases, open source, and engineering excellence.
