Integrating VividCortex with VictorOps

It's easy to integrate VividCortex with your existing workflow and team tools. Included on our growing list of integrations is VictorOps. If you're not familiar with VictorOps, it's a SaaS solution designed to help manage teams' workflows after an incident is opened: it helps you handle alert routing, message delivery, on-call rotation, scheduled maintenance, escalation, and more. (If you're building these things yourself, you're probably Doing It Wrong).

Integrating VividCortex with VictorOps is quick and simple. In the VividCortex dashboard, under your environment's settings, you'll find two key preferences for this:

  1. How should events be aggregated into incidents? This is essentially a
GROUP BY. You can select options such as hostname and event type.
  2. How should incidents be notified? Here you can configure integrations such as VictorOps, publish the incidents to the integrations, and then
    you're done.

For more details on how to set up a VictorOps integration, see the VividCortex documentation and follow the instructions. Or, if you're a customer, just message us via the in-app chat and we'll be happy to help you set it up!
